What makes a psychologist truly specialized?
The educational pathway of a doctoral-level psychologist is not just about diagnosing or treating mental illness—it is about learning to conduct comprehensive, evidence-based assessments, clear communication of psychological findings, and application of scientific knowledge in both therapeutic and forensic settings. This specialized foundation guides everything Dr. Goossens does. Whether she is providing therapy, conducting psychological or forensic assessments, evaluating risk, or offering expert opinions, her work is grounded in research, clinical expertise, and an appreciation that every individual deserves an objective, thoughtful, and compassionate approach.
